Ethanol Debate Reignites

It's a new "hot" mix of fuel that's cheaper and cleaner, even if it could damage older cars and motorcycles.  Would you put it in your tank?  (For the podcast of Jim's interview with Reason magazine's J.D. Tuccille on the ethanol flap, click here...)

That's the dilemma with a high-ethanol blend of gasoline known as E15. It contains 15 percent ethanol, well above the current 10 percent norm sold at most U.S. gas stations.  The higher blend is currently sold a handful stations in the Midwest, but could spread as the Obama administration considers whether to require more ethanol in gasoline.
