Ex-Grand Forks Teacher Sentenced for Net “Luring”
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A former Grand Forks teacher has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for luring young girls on the Internet.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that 29-year-old Jeremy Thompson was sentenced on Friday, after pleading guilty to five felony charges.
Thompson worked as teacher and coach for Grand Forks Public Schools. He was fired after his Jan. 8 arrest.
He previously worked as a teacher and coach in Edmore.
