The Great American Bike Race has a new home. This year the event will be held at Legacy High School on Saturday, April 8th.

This is one of the events that is a staple in the Bismarck-Mandan area. The event raises funds to support children and young adults with cerebral palsy and other related childhood-onset conditions permanently affecting development. To date, GABR has raised over $3 million dollars to assist local families. Last year, this event raised over $400,000.

There is still time to join a team, each team consists of up to 15 individuals, 12 of which will ride in a 20-minute heat. Prizes awarded to the top individual fundraiser and for most miles biked in a 20-minute heat.

If you're not into the competition, many people come to motivate their favorite team or rider to do the best they can.

Breakfast and lunch will be available at the race for a free will offering. 100% of the dollars raised benefit GABR with all proceeds going to GABR.
