I can't think of a better event to be at to show your support in keeping Mandan marvelous

I'm pretty impressed with Bismarck and Mandan, compared to other cities I have lived in, we are pretty clean - streets well kept, and if you look close - you won't find a lot of trash off in the gutters or on the sidewalks. The obvious reason is that there are many people who take pride in where we live, as a matter of fact, you can see that for yourself coming up on April 22nd.

You and your whole family can take advantage of this awesome tradition

Check this out, this year will be the 10th Annual Mandan Litter Clean-Up Day - April 22nd. According to a News Release from Kari Schmidt | Communications Specialist City of Mandan Business Development & Communications Department  "The City of Mandan Community Beautification Committee is seeking volunteers to pick up litter on Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to noon. Each year more than 200 volunteers collect 400 to 500 bags of trash from ditches along major roadways. Businesses, civic organizations and youth groups are encouraged to take a route." There will be some donuts donated by Bearscat Bakehouse and Food for the appreciation lunch is donated in part by Cloverdale Foods, Dan’s Supermarket, and Pepsi Beverages with grilling services provided by Dakota Community Bank and Trust.

You can wear your t-shirts with pride
