WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) — Construction has wrapped up on a housing complex in Watford City for public service employees.

A dedication ceremony was scheduled Wednesday for the complex dubbed Wolf Run Village that will provide affordable housing for "essential needs" workers such as teachers and law officers, and others.

Officials broke ground for the $17 million project about a year ago.

Watford City is in the heart of the booming western oil patch, where housing is difficult to find.
