What are the biggest sticking points on these hospital ratings from Forbes?

Paramount to the methodology was the emphasis on clinical patient outcomes such as mortality rates, survival, infection, and readmissions. Those key points were given the most weight and had the biggest influence on each hospital's overall rating.

2,500 hospitals across America met the Forbes criteria to be eligible for the survey. Of those facilities, only 253 hospitals received an overall rating of 5 stars.

Which TWO hospitals in North Dakota stood out in the 2026 Forbes Top Hospitals in America?
