We've all heard about the best-laid plans of mice and men.

Here, from one of our favorite websites, are four examples of people whose diabolical schemes came back to bite them in the hind quarters with hilarious results.

At least two of these examples are particularly relevant to North Dakotans.  To wit:

The pro-censorship politician who got a taste of his own medicine...

The NFL bully who encountered an even bigger bully in the form of social media...

The Exxon CEO who has no problem with fracking, just not in his back yard...
