Man Tries to Escape From Cops After Crashing His Truck on I 94
You can't run from the long arm of the law, which is what a Tappen, ND man tried to do after crashing and flipping his truck on I94.
James Dewey from Tappen, N.D. flipped his truck on I94, East of Sterling. Around 6 p.m. Monday, Dewey's truck went into the ditch, flipped and rolled though the median and then onto the east bound lane of I94, where his Ford truck got rear-ended by an 18 wheeler.
Dewey split the scene on foot but was later arrested. His passenger, Summer Maxon, 28, of Tappen was transported to a Bismarck hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the 18 wheeler was the only driver wearing a seat-belt and was not injured.
Dewey is resting comfortably at the Burleigh County Correctional Center after being treated and released for his injuries.
