The McQuade Softball Tournament is back for the weekend in Bismarck-Mandan.

As the McQuade Tournament Facebook page notes, the tournament runs through Sunday the 30th and features contenders from around North America.

Here is the very least you should know:

What is called "the USA's Largest non-profit, single weekend slowpitch softball tournament was founded in 1976 by Sam McQuade Sr."

The full name of the tournament is The Sam McQuade Sr./Budweiser Charity Softball Tournament.

Tournament brackets are up and running here.

Last year's tournament champions are listed on this page.

Players will need their wristbands. If you have a question about it, go here.

Games are weather permitting. If it looks like rain, follow the Facebook page for updates.

Bear in mind families from all over the continent will be visiting this weekend. Please drive carefully.

Looking for souvenirs, like T-shirts, hats, coolies, etc...go here.

Again, have fun, drive carefully and enjoy the McQuade Tournament this week in Bismarck!
