NDSU Fans Headed to Frisco Asked to Help Victims of Dallas Tornadoes
If you're heading to Frisco to see the North Dakota State Bison attempt to win their fifth straight FCS championship on January 9th, you also have the opportunity to help those in need.
A Facebook user named Stephanie Wooland Gregg recently put together a post, asking Bison fans headed to Frisco to stock up on supplies to help out residents affected by a string of devastating tornadoes that rocked the Dallas area at the end of December:
This will be the fifth straight year that Bison fans have packed the Toyota Stadium in Frisco, making the Texas city a home-away-from-home of sorts for NDSU fans.
If you're not able to make it to Frisco for the game, but still want to help out the people of Texas, you can make donations to the Garland Tornado Relief Fund, according to our sister station, NewsTalk1290.com, located in Wichita Falls.
You can find other ways to donate by visiting DallasNews.com.
