The North Dakota State Bison scored points on their first six possessions as they cruised to a 52-10 rout of the Montana State Bobcats to advance to the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs.

Lance Dunn rushed for four first half touchdowns to help NDSU earn a 38-3 halftime lead. Dunn finished with 127 yards rushing on just 11 carries. The Bison totaled 407 yards on the ground on 44 carries overall as the Bison ran all over the Bobcats.

Dunn had touchdown runs of 1,11,1, and 46 yards. NDSU also had two other running backs that went for over 100 yards with Bruce Anderson going for 118 on 13 carries, including a 32 yard touchdown and Ty Brooks with 103 yards on just 6 carries and a touchdown of his own. NDSU had seven touchdowns rushing, which is a school playoff record.

The Bison (12-0) defense held Montana State (8-5) to just 301 yards total.

In the quarterfinals, number 8 seed, Colgate, defeated James Madison, 23-20. NDSU will play Colgate at the Fargodome next Saturday.
