North Dakota Hits 1 Million Barrels of Oil a Day
The North Dakota oil industry has reached a long-anticipated milestone.
The Bismarck tribune reported this week that oil production topped the one million barrels per day mark in April.
The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources released the preliminary figures Tuesday. North Dakota joins Texas as member of the "million barrels a day" club.
