North Dakota Man Arrested After Stealing Fire Truck

A man in Ransom County stole a fire truck and drove through railroad crossing arms before finally being apprehended.

Inforum reports that a 29 year old male named Vincent Gerber was going around Sheldon on Monday asking people for a ride. Apparently everyone has asked refuse to offer Gerber a ride so he went to a local fire station and took a truck.

Gerber was eventually arrested in Enderlin and charged with fleeing, driving with a suspended license, 3 counts of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
