North Dakota State Fair Attendance Increases in 2017
In 2017, the North Dakota State Fair in Minot drew quite a crowd, and it resulted in an increase from the previous year.
In 2016, the attendance for the North Dakota State Fair was totaled at 293,123. This year, the state fair came up just short of the 300,000 mark. The fair brought in a total of 299,077. An increase of 2 percent from last year.
This year's fair had plenty of attractions, including concerts from the likes of Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Thomas Rhett, Fergie, and Paramore.
Plenty of other events took place at the fair, such as rodeo events, animal and car shows, carnival rides, food vendors and 4-H exhibits.
This doesn't begin to explain the available foods like the Bison Burger, Giant Turkey Leg, Deep Fried Oreos, and Cheese Curds among many others.
Fair goers had access to some great food and several events that were complemented by great weather. Despite temperatures over 90 degrees, the lack of rain in the forecast helped fair goers to make the most of every event.
We'll see you all next year at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot, July 20-28.
