Sadly, it takes a lot to get stoical North Dakotans to stand up and speak out.  I'm hoping this will do it.

An oil company has staked out an oil pad less than a mile from the site of Teddy Roosevelt's Elkhorn Ranch cabin.  The Trib has the full story here.

The public at large has said little on this.  The state media, with a handful of notable exceptions, have not touched it.
