Another fall tradition in Bismarck Mandan is now a causality of COVID-19.  Papa Pumkin Patch will be closed this Autumn.  According to the Papa's Pumpkin Patch website "Please know we have gone “ROUND AND ROUND” about this “COVID THING.”    For our community– the risks outweigh the rewards."

Because of the coronavirus Papa's Pumpkin Patch has decided not to open in 2020.  The gates will remain closed.  The business expressed how sorry they were forced to stay closed.

However, Grandpa Al’s Hayrides and Pony Rides will be open across the fence.  You can expect that to happen September 19th and September 20th and will be open weekends until October 25th.  However it will be by reservation only.  Grand Pa Al's Hayrides and Pony Rides has been a working partner with Papa's Pumpkin Patch for 30 years.  In fact, Grandpa Al's will have Papa's pumpkins.

Papa's Pumpkin Patch is located at 5001 Fernwood Drive in Bismarck.  Normally, they offer a ton of different activities for the whole family including Bale Mazes, Slide Mountain, Touchstone Nature Trail, Log Jam, Great Pumpkin’s Chair, Corn Cribs, Billy Bob the Cornstalk Horse, Papa’sville (wooden play structures), How Tall This Fall?, Mr. Antique, Wee Zips, Swings and More Swings, Tire Climbing Pile, Super Sandbox, slack lines and rope tunnels, human foosball and a very fun corn maze. You can also visit with Jesse and Kit, the horses!

So much autumn fun that will not happen.  Again, because of COVID-19 Papa's Pumpkin Patch will not open up this season.  They hope to be back bigger and better than ever in 2021.
