The first official day of summer is still just a bit away, but it's in our sights

Yes, of course, the weather has been warmer, although, it still seems like we are "miles away from the first official day of summer" - which is June 21st at 9:57 am on that day. Great, sure glad they tracked it down to the exact minute - I have to respectfully disagree with Google, however.

After reading about a brand new bar opening in Mandan in June...

...I would say that the DAY they serve their first drink, that's WHEN summer begins. Talk about an aggressive approach to entertainment, this place seems destined for it. Mark this address in your daily planner, Central Station Bar and Events is getting everybody excited! Check out what they posted on their Facebook page yesterday:

"The newest bar coming to the Bismarck/Mandan area opening June 2023!  Located at 111 Collins Ave open daily from 11 am-1 am. Offering a wide variety of entertainment:
3 sports simulator bays (golf, soccer, hockey, baseball, AND dodgeball!) - darts - pool
blackjack bingo - pig wheel electronic pull tabs
Friendly staff ready to serve you behind a full bar with 10 tap beer options as well as a cajun-style menu. - Kids are welcome until 8 pm in the bay area as well!"

A place you can bring your kids to

That is way cool - not only are they making this so inviting for adults, but it's obvious that Central Station Bar and Events respects the value of their upcoming customers being able to bring their kids along. So I guess you can disregard the Google official date of when summer starts, Central Station Bar and Events will determine that day for all of us.
