A Virginia TV reporter and her cameraman were killed earlier this morning in Moneta, Virginia following a shooting that took during a live broadcast on the WDBJ morning news program.
Police have identified John Russell Houser, 59, as the person suspected of opening fire in a Lafayette, Louisiana, movie theater Thursday night, killing two people and injuring seven more (one critically), before killing himself. Houser was described as a "drifter" from Alabama who had been living in a nearby motel.
Three people, including the perpetrator, are dead and nine are wounded after an active shooter situation in a Lafayette, Louisiana movie theater at approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday night.
A gunman opened fire Thursday morning at two military recruiting centers in Chattanooga, Tennessee, killing four Marines before police shot and killed the alleged shooter. The names of those involved have not been released at this time.
