The Most Underrated Town in North Dakota
Thrillist, you have to love this website. Without rhyme or reason, the staff at Thrillist always seems to publish, many 'out of left field columns', and they are at it again.
This time, they list the most underrated cities or towns in every state. Now, we put you to the task. Where do you think is the most underrated city or town in North Dakota.
I've been living in the Peace Garden State for 6 years, and I've am very well traveled. During the spring and summer, I take many long motorcycle trips (alone) and I've seen many beautiful towns and communities. During the winter months, I hit the road for many of the fun activities in the state.
Here are a few of my favorite underrated communities in the state.
Garrison, ND- the Christmas Capital of the state. Garrison has a cute Main St. and you can not forget about the Dickens Village Festival after Thanksgiving.
Minot, ND- for ND State Fair! This is the place to be in the state for first class live entertainment and food on a stick during the state festival.
Medora- How can you not LOVE that little town and of course, the Medora Musical.
Jamestown, ND- again, a quaint Main St., and very entertaining museums.
Harvey, ND- they too have a great Main St., plus a great motorcycle ride.( and a Pizza Ranch!)
Thrillist named Devils Lake as the most underrated town in North Dakota.
