Senior forward Drake Caggiula put the University of North Dakota on the scoreboard first during Saturday's Midwest regional final and promptly got dropped by the referee.

In the first period UND's game against the University of Michigan, Caggiula put the puck in the back of the net to give the Fighting Hawks a 1-0 lead.

As Caggiula was circling behind the net after the goal, he accidentally skated right into the referee, who delivered what may have been the hardest hit of the game.

Caggiula was sent to the ice, but quickly got back on his skates to celebrate with his teammates, though he did take a quick second to shoot a smile to the referee.

UND ended up winning the game 5-2, clinching their spot in the Frozen Four in Tampa, which kicks off April 7th.
