Going grocery shopping is not always an enjoyable experience. For starters, there are people there... just kidding...sort of.

But seriously, it's a lot of walking, a lot of bright florescent lights, a lot of spending money on not-fun things and so on and so forth. That's also not to mention having to load, unload, then put all of the groceries away when you're done shopping. Bleh.

The Offenses

There are unwritten rules to grocery store shopping. There's an etiquette, okay! For some reason or another many North Dakotans choose to ignore these rules and do nearly everything in their power to annoy others.

To put everyone on notice, I've made a list of the most annoying things North Dakotans do at the grocery store.

There You Have It!

Do you break any of these rules?? Honestly, these are just the first things that popped into my head, but I'm sure I could come up with a few more, if needed. What's your grocery store pet peeve? -- Send me a message and let me know.

Avoiding It

I know, this post has inspired you to go shopping, hasn't it? Hahaa If we're being honest, I avoid the store altogether. Unless I absolutely have to go physically, in-person, I'll just do a grocery order. Emergency runs include, but are not limited to the following: being out of coffee creamer, tampons, chocolate, and dog/cat food.

Beyond that, I don't have the patience for the grocery store shopping grind anymore. I also don't like the person I become while grocery shopping, so it's better all-around that I stay at home.
