AP: Gay Minnesotans Rush to Marry

Since Minnesota became the 12th U.S. state to legalize gay marriage, at least 1,640 same-sex couples have applied to be married, according to a statewide survey by the Associated Press..

To put it another way, Same-sex couples are receiving nearly 1 in 3 of the marriage licenses issued in Minnesota since they've been allowed to wed.
