Big Meth Bust in Morton County Over the Weekend

It's value was over $500,000 according the Morton Country Sheriff's Department and the drug was methamphetamine.

Police stopped a rental car for speeding on I-94 near Mandan at 1 a.m. Saturday morning. As police approached the car with his K-9 officer, the dog alerted the deputy of drugs in the car.

Officials found four bags containing a pound each of meth along with drug paraphernalia.

The two occupant are being charged with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
