Bismarck Police are investigating a Friday double-stabbing in the city.

The city crime blotter reports police responded to a call around one AM at the 1100 block of Bozeman Avenue where officers found two victims, one male, one female. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police set up a perimeter in the neighborhood to search for the assailant. A North Dakota Highway Patrol plane was also used in a search of the area.

KX News says police arrested a suspect in the stabbing, Marcus LaPoint, around five AM. He was taken to Burleigh County Jail. Authorities say the suspect knew the victims.
