To celebrate National Orthodontic Health Month, we'll pay each participant $1 for every pound of candy (up to 5 pounds). Kids can then choose to keep that money or donate it to Operation Gratitude.

The event is open to patients, their families, local schools and community members. Only wrapped candy will be accepted.

Collections will take place from 8am-4:30pm, Nov. 3 and 4 at Feil Orthodontics, located at 416 N. 6th St. in Bismarck.

The office also will supply thank you cards to be sent to troops.
