Bismarck Hero Cop Saves Would-Be Jumper

A Bismarck police officer is being lauded as a hero Tuesday after saving the life of a man apparently attempting to jump off a bridge.

Police say Officer Kent Kaylor answered a dispatch to Liberty Memorial Bridge to check out reports of a man threatening to jump.

Kaylor's own report says he managed to reach the man, and grabbed him just in time.
