'The Great Christmas Light Fight,' a competition show on ABC showcasing extravagant Christmas light displays across the country, will feature a house in Bismarck.

The houses at 7400 and 7455 Chestnut Drive will be featured on this year's show according to a post on their Facebook page. ABC contacted the owners of the homes and asked if they would send an audition tape. They are not sure how ABC found their houses.

Their 'Lights on Chestnut' show began as a family competition 11 years ago and has developed into a way for them to give back to the community according to the Facebook page.

They run their light show weekdays from 5:30 to 11 p.m. during the week and from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. on weekends.

ABC was in town in October to film the light show.

The show itself will air on Dec. 11 at 7 p.m.

Lights on Chestnut began their light show this year on Nov. 24. They posted a video of their light show last year to YouTube as you can see above.
