BSC to Host Paralympics Swim Meet

Bismarck and Bismarck State College will host the U.S. Can-Am Open Swim Meet, and athletes will start arriving as soon as this week.

The meet is set for Dec. 10-12 at the Bismarck State College Aquatic and Wellness Center. Some athletes will start to arrive this week to get acquainted with the area and the pool facilities.

The Bismarck-Mandan area will serve as host for several visitors. Teams from around the world will be in the cities.  This year, teams from U.S., Cuba, Russia, Canada, Australia, Brazil, China, France, Japan and Korea are expected to compete.

Volunteers are needed for this events to assist in the competition to driving the athletes to and from their hotels. If you'd like to help, call 701-751-4266.
