Free Lunch Program Open For Summer

The Free Summer Lunch is back.

The Missouri Slope United Way in conjunction with Great Plains Food Bank is sponsoring the program at various parks in the Bismarck-Mandan area now through mid-summer.

The program runs Monday through Friday, except for July 4-5.

In Bismarck, free lunches are available noon - one PM through July 26 at the following locations:

Grimsrud Elementary Playground  716 W St. Benedict

Jaycee Centennial Park corner of E.Century and N 4th Street

Lions Hillside Park 1719 E Hillside

Sons of Norway Park east of Jeanette Myhre on Expressway

Will-Moore Elementary Playground 400 East Ave. E (Northwest side of the building)

Wachter Park Shelter 205 E Reno Ave.

The following Bismarck location is open weekdays 11:45 - 12:15 through August 16

Kiwanis Park 318 S Washington

In Mandan free lunches will be available at these locations through August 2nd:

Kiwanis Park 201 3rd Street SW near the baseball diamond. 11:45 - 12:15 closed July 4-5

Dykshoorn Park Bandshell Area W Main Street 12:30 - 1PM closed July 3-5
