Gas Prices Are Expected to Rise Soon in North Dakota
Gas prices have been going down and dropped to all-time record low prices. But, some have predicted we can expect gas prices to rise in North Dakota very soon.
Recently, the average retail price of a gallon of gasoline in Bismarck and North Dakota dipped below $2, but prices are expected to start going in the opposite direction soon. The average price nationwide is $2.02 a gallon.
According to Gas Buddy representatives, we can expect gas prices to go in the other direction very soon.
GasBuddy Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan said last week -
Last year's lift began the second week of February and saw the upward trend last until the beginning of May, during which the national average saw a rise of 35 cents a gallon. This year we're expecting a similar rise.
The reason, you may be asking? State refineries will be producing less gas, and consumers can expect a seasonal rise in prices as refineries conduct maintenance and shift over to summer gasoline blends.
Some may say this is good, then again, some may say this is bad news.
