High Wind WARNING Monday (Oct 31) for Some of the Listening Area
The National Weather Service has issued a HIGH WIND WARNING for most of the listening area in Southern North Dakota.
The counties under the influence of the watch include-
High winds are expected in these areas from Monday afternoon through Halloween Night. Strong westerly winds, gusting to 60 mph are possible in the watch area.
Residents are advised to secure loose object in and around their property Sunday (Oct 30) before the winds move through the area Monday.
These winds can be hazardous for drivers of high profile vehicles in open areas such as the interstate, and workers on construction and farming sites where equipment or personnel working off the ground or on elevated structures could be dangerous.
More counties could be added in the watch area on Monday morning or afternoon as this system moves through the area.
