On a beautiful Sunday afternoon (November 13), hundreds gathered on the lawn of the State Capitol to support our men and women in uniform.

With all the tension associated with the Dakota Access Pipeline protests, and hundreds of police officers helping in keeping the peace at and around the camp site, many citizens decided to show their support for our police officers.

Special guests speakers included Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D.,  Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., and Lt. Gov. Drew Wrigley.

Many people had signs in support of our men and women, while Sen. John Hoven said "it is your right to protest, but protest within the guidelines of the law."
