The mid-terms are next week, and as we hit the home stretch, both sides are ratcheting up their respective campaigns.

This week, former Vice President Joe Biden came to North Dakota to stump for Senator Heidi Heitkamp, running against Republican Kevin Cramer.

As Fargo's KGFO Radio reports, Mr. Biden spoke at the Fargo Air Museum Thursday, despite an apparent sore throat. He spoke of a number of national issues, including the "forces of hate" and the "lack of dignity in the national dialogue."

During an interview with Joel Heitkamp (heard on SuperTalk 1270 Thursday), The ex-Veep told the host that the senator is "just what we need."

The incumbent, apparently trailing Mr. Cramer, plans to hit over twenty stops statewide between now and the election, in what her team is calling the "Bring It Home, Heidi" tour."

On the other side, President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have appeared in ads endorsing Rep. Cramer for the senate.
