Local Hotel Worker Charged with Stealing Hotel Guest Credit Cards
We've all heard of stories like this before, but now it's happened close to home. The Bismarck Tribune is reporting that a local hotel employee was booked by Bismarck Police for stealing hotel guests credit cards.
The events happened this month (July) at the Hampton Inn,1440 Mapleton Ave, where according to police records, Antoine Williams was an auditor at the hotel and allegedly took credit cards from several hotel guests rooms. He was working the nights when the theft took place and had access to the key machine and was able to make keys to gain entry into the three guests rooms.
Police viewed security cameras at Target and Wal-Mart where several hundred dollars in purchases where made with the stolen credit cards and identified Williams.
Charges have been filed against Williams.
