A long three-day 4th of July weekend filled with fireworks and thievery

Here is hoping your weekend was full of family, fun, relaxation, and taking in the tradition of celebrating our Independence Day with fireworks exploding into the skies of Bismarck/Mandan. For some people, though it was a chance to put on some cheap disguises, cover their faces as best they could, and break into a local business like a bunch of pack rats. My question though is this, do crooks know that there are in most places security cameras everywhere?

Sometimes a reward will help inspire others to come out and report something out of the ordinary they may have spotted

Earlier this morning on their Facebook page, Mandan Parks & Recreation had this to say:

"We need your help identifying criminals who broke into Raging Rivers over the weekend. Please contact Cole Higlin at 751.6163 or the Mandan Police Dept. at 667.3250. We are offering a $500 cash reward if prosecuted. Break-in happened on July 2, 2022, between the hours of 3:15 am to 4:10 am. If anyone has cameras in the area or experienced a similar break-in, please reach out and we can work together to catch these criminals"

Here are some other still shots that were taken off their security cameras

Sometimes we see something out of the corner of our eye that we may later find strange

This is what Mandan Parks & Recreation is hoping for, that someone saw something early that morning, OR if anyone has gone around saying something to someone else about the break-in - any information is better than none, PLUS a reward could be yours.

LOOK: See how much gasoline cost the year you started driving

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

Read on to explore the cost of gas over time and rediscover just how much a gallon was when you first started driving.
