A familiar face is set to take over as manager of the Minnesota Twins.

According to ESPN, the Twins have offered their managerial opening to former Twins legend and Hall of Famer Paul Molitor. Barring any unforeseen issues, Molitor is expected to be introduced at a press conference on Tuesday, November 4th.

The Twins have been searching for a new manager since they fired Ron Gardenhire at the end of the 2014 regular season. Gardenhire had spent thirteen years as the manager of the Twins.

Molitor spent the final three seasons of his 21-year career with the Twins. He was brought on as a coach in October of 2013.
