Mandan Police are looking for a suspect driving a white pickup that killed an elderly Mandan man early this morning.  The plates of the suspect's vehicle are possibly from Montana or Wyoming.

This fatal hit and run of a pedestrian happened early this morning (Monday, March 21st) at 7:25 am.  Mandan Police received a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a motor vehicle.  The victim, a 77-year-old Mandan man was pronounced dead at the scene.  The incident took place in the parking lot at the All Seasons Arena, which is in the 900 block of 9th Street Northwest.

After an investigation by officers at the scene and looking over surveillance tapes,  they were able to get a description of the suspect's vehicle.  It's being described as a white Ford F250 pickup.  The vehicle is probably a 2015 or newer model.  The pickup is white in color but has a black front grill guard and a large black toolbox in the box.  Here are some pictures of the vehicle.

According to a press release from Mandan Police, this vehicle has what is commonly called a "headache rack."  The pickup likely has either Montana or Wyoming license plates.  If you see this vehicle, do not approach it.  The best thing you can do to help the situation is to call local law enforcement or the Mandan Police Department at 701-667-3250.
