The NDSU Bison football team is headed back to the FCS championship game for the 8th time this decade, after a convincing 42-14 victory over Montana State this past Saturday in the playoff semifinals at the FargoDome.  It was the 36th consecutive victory for the Bison.  Redshirt freshman QB Trey Lance led the way once again, passing for three touchdowns, and rushing for two more.

Sophomore WR Christian Watson also had a big day, with 174 yards of total offense, and two touchdowns.  Senior RB Dimitri Williams also pitched in with 2 receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.  NDSU outgained Montana State 541 yards to 298.

Top seeded NDSU will meet 2nd seeded James Madison in the National Championship game on Saturday, 01/11/2020 in Frisco, Texas.  A Bison win would mean an unprecedented eighth National title in one decade.
