HARVEY, N.D. (AP) — The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the death of a worker at a grain elevator in Harvey.

The Bismarck Tribune reports the incident happened at the Prairie Towers Elevator two weeks ago. OSHA official Eric Brooks says a section of a grain chute fell and hit 21-year-old Alex Rall in the head.

Brooks says the grain chute section weighed between 250 pounds and 300 pounds. Rall was pronounced dead at the scene.

The OSHA office has been closed because of the 16-day partial government shutdown that ended Thursday.
