Poll: Should We Boycott the Olympics?

In the wake of Russia's recent crackdown on the LGBT community in that country, some are calling for a boycott of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.My take is that a boycott would be grossly unfair to the athletes who have devoted their lives to preparation for this moment.  They should go - especially the gay athletes.  Let them go over there and kick their homophobic keesters!  That would be a much more effective message, a la Jesse Owens in Berlin click below for the Owens story, via YouTube).
