Protesters Take Their Message Into the State Capital
The Dakota Access Pipeline Protesters took their protest inside the State Capital Thursday.
North Dakota State Patrol arrested about 12 protesters inside the Capital. The Capital was on lockdown at about 4 p.m., as the protesters where arrested on several charges including criminal trespassing.
The protesters sat in prayer and chanted inside the entrance of the capital.
Other protesters gathered outside the capital including many members of the clergy who earlier visited the protest camps.
The protesters chanted and sang as they were led outside the building.
