Schlotzsky's Austin Eatery made an announcement recently on their social media page concerning staffing issues, that are plaguing businesses all across Bismarck Mandan and the country for that matter.  More on that in a second.

Schlotzsky's is located at 2000 North 12th Street Ste 130 in Bismarck, North Dakota which is right off State Street sandwiched between Subway and Bearscat Bakehouse.  You see what I did there?

Schlotzsky's is most known for its delicious sandwiches and is a very popular lunchtime destination in Bismarck.

They also more recently added pizzas, flatbreads, and salads to their menu.  Schlotzsky's hours of operation have been Monday through Sunday 10:30 am to 7:30 am.  However, that is about to change.  According to a heartfelt post on their Facebook page, they will now be closed on Sundays due to a staffing shortage in Bismarck Mandan.  Schlotzsky's did add they hope to resolve the situation in a timely manner, so it appears they intend to try to open again on Sundays in the future.

This message was posted on Monday on Schlotzsky's Facebook page, so I'm assuming this closing will begin as soon as this coming Sunday.

It's great to see businesses hang in there during these trying times, and keep their patrons informed.  With the recent closings of MacKenzie River, The Woodhouse, and others in Bismarck Mandan, it goes without saying that these certainly are troubling times for business owners.

Again, I beg the question?  What are people doing for money these days?  There are jobs out there, why aren't people working?  This is truly a mystery to me.
