Several Bullets Strike a Home and Kill a Cat in Bismarck
The Bismarck Police Department is investigating an incident involving several shots being fired at a home.
According to a new release, this morning at 12:40am, a 49 year old man living on the 1700 block of North 4th street heard pounding on his window. He then heard his cat screaming around.
The man found a bullet hole in his window and his cat was bleeding. Police recovered eight .22 caliber shells at the scene. Bullets had struck a screen door, a garage window, the siding of the house, the weather door and a living room window.
The cat unfortunately died.
The case currently has no suspects.
However police say they are investigating a separate incident where .22 caliber shells were recovered on Nov. 6 on South University Drive.
