The Best Mexican Restaurant in North Dakota is in Bismarck

If you're searching for good Mexican food in North Dakota, you certainly don't have to go outside of Bismarck as there are more than a few quality Mexican restaurants in the area, including the one labeled as the best in the state.

As I stumbled upon the recent article from The Daily Meal that listed the 'Best Mexican Restaurant in Every State', I couldn't have been more pleased to see what selection had been made for North Dakota, which happens to also be my personal favorite in Bismarck. According to The Daily Meal, La Carreta took the title as the best Mexican restaurant in North Dakota.

Here's what The Daily Meal had to say of the establishment:

La Carreta has everything you look for in a classic American-style Mexican restaurant, and it’s been serving hungry Bismarck, North Dakota, locals for more than 15 years. It's low-key and inviting, with high-backed booths, great margaritas, and top-notch nachos, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas (there are also 20 different combination platters if you can’t make up your mind). Traditional Mexican dishes like arroz con mariscos, chilaquiles, and guisado de puerco round out the menu.

Let's also not forget about their fantastic variety of flavored margaritas and a great tequila selection as we noted this past Friday for National Margarita Day.
