Two Sentenced For Minot Chase/Shooting

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Two men who authorities say were involved in a car chase and shooting in Minot have been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to reduced charges.

KXMC-TV reports that 20-year-old Nathan Schlosser was sentenced to five years on charges including terrorizing and reckless endangerment. Eighteen-year-old Tegan Lamotte got four years on similar charges.

Prosecutors on Monday dropped charges of conspiracy to commit murder against both men, as well as four counts of attempted murder against Schlosser.

Authorities say Lamotte was driving a car that chased another vehicle through the city after a botched drug deal in February, while Schlosser shot at the other vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle was wounded. The injury was not life-threatening.
