Wind Chill “Advisories” Continue

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Much of North Dakota is under wind chill advisories or warnings.

The National Weather Service says wind chill values are hitting 25 below to 40 below in many areas on Monday morning.

It's colder along and north of the Highway 2 corridor, where wind chills near 45 below zero are expected Monday morning in Williston, Crosby, Minot, Bottineau and Rugby.

Warmer air is expected to move into western North Dakota by Monday afternoon, but dangerous wind chills are forecast to continue through Monday night along and east of Highway 83.

The Weather Service advises that people who have to venture outdoors wear appropriate clothing, including hats and gloves.
