A Sign of Spring, Good News For Motorcylist

A sure sign of spring is when the city starts to wipe away the gravel and sand from the area bridges and roadways left over from the long harsh winter.

This is the time of year when most single motorcycle accidents happen because of the loose gravel and sand still on the roadways. This was a welcome sight for the motorcyclist that have been taking advantage of the warmer days with extended day light hours as late as 8:15 PM.

These street cleaners normally work in pairs and move slowly. Be sure to keep an eye out for the slow moving street cleaners and be aware of the cloud of dust the lead cleaner produces and the second cleaner sweeps the remaining residue.
