The Bismarck Figure Skating Club will be hosting its annual ice show coming up on March 18th, March 19th, and March 20th.
The theme for this year's show is "Mystery at the Movies".  Some of the highlights for this year's show include guest skaters Leah Neset and Artem Markelov, the 2022 Junior Ice Dance Champions, and Members of Team USA.  They will be featured in each show.  Leah's family is originally from Minot and her cousin skates in Bismarck.
According to a press release from the Bismarck Figure Skating Club, 175 local skaters will be in the ice show. Skill levels range from the newest skaters, whose cuteness nearly melts the ice, to those who have passed senior freestyle.
Five graduating seniors will be skating throughout the weekend. For some, this will be their final performance on the ice. Others will keep skating into college.
This event is the Bismarck Figure Skating Club’s biggest fundraiser of the year. It is also the largest ice show in North Dakota.

The Capital Ice Chips just got back from Colorado Springs.  They competed at the National Synchronized Skating Championships. This was the Chips' 11th time at nationals, and they had a fantastic 2nd place showing.

The Capital Ice Connection, a team comprised of skaters under the age of 13, also just returned from Nationals had a very good 5th place showing.

This year's shows are set to take place at VFW Arena in Bismarck.  There will be four shows.  The first one will take place at 7 pm on Friday, March 18th.  Saturday, March 19th there will be two shows.  One at 2 pm and an evening show at 7 pm.  The final show will take place on Sunday, March 20th at 2 pm.

Tickets are available two hours before showtimes at VFW Arena or you can purchase tickets online at bismarckfigureskatingclub.com.
