The city of Bismarck's annual Spring Clean-up Week will take place this year between Monday, April 27 and Friday, May 1.

Spring Clean-up Week is an opportunity for residents to dispose of large home and yard items that are difficult to haul away otherwise, and that the city does not normally collect curbside. These items include:

  • Appliances (except from apartment complexes)
  • Building material
  • Carpet
  • Dirt
  • Furniture items
  • Rocks
  • Sod
  • Tires (excluding semi-truck and tractor tires)

The following hazardous items will not be accepted and must be disposed of at the Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Recycling Center:

  • Electronics
  • Hazardous waste
  • Liquids
  • Paint

To have your items picked up, simply leave them near the curb with your trash and recycling on the regularly-scheduled pick-up day.
