No controversy here!

For once,  the yearly tradition will take place without any drama. The NDSU Bison will visit the White House this Monday, March 4th and THE WHOLE TEAM WILL BE THERE!

Pretty good concept.  Bison assistant Randy Hedberg is excited about the opportunity since it's the first time he will visit the White House.  Normally the event is reserved for major college programs an/or Professional athletics teams but this year NDSU will get the chance of a lifetime to meet with the president and get a tour of the capital.

Here's the official word from the Bismarck Tribune:

The team will be honored by the President Donald Trump at the White House that morning. Following the Bison’s visit to the White House, the team will head to Capitol Hill, where Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., will host a luncheon for the team, followed by a tour of the U.S. Capitol.

“Not only are the Bison the reigning FCS national champions, but they have won seven of the last eight championship games,” Hoeven said. “This is a stellar team and an exceptional program."

It's good to see a class program respecting a great tradition.
